Scrappy Canary Feb Challenge!

There has been very little creativeness happening at my house this month, as it has been a very busy one, but with the month drawing to a close, i thought i really should make an effort and see what i could get done.  The Scrappy Canary sketch caught my eye, and looked like something i could get completed fairly quickly, so i gave it a go.

123 Challenge Blog

The 123 Challenge Blog Nov challenge scared me at first. The word and technique were easy, but did i have any copper? After having a good look through my stash, i found i actually had quite a few different Kaiser copper pearl shapes and loose pearls, as well as copper eyelets and brads! 

I went with the pearl star and the loose pearls to create this page.

Scrappy Canary Oct CC Challenge 3!!

Anybody who knows me, knows that i don't do pastels! I don't have any pastel patterned paper. I love brights! You only have to browse through my blog to realise that, so when i saw the Scrappy Canary Oct CC Ch 3 - to use pastels and gold, i thought there was no way i would get this one done. I decided to challenge myself though, and knowing i have no pastel pp, i searched through my PL cards and come up with this. I am pretty happy with the end result! :)

Off The Rails Scrapbooking!

I loved the moodboard for the October Off The Rails Scrapbooking challenge, so really wanted to fins time to squeeze in this challenge for the month. Bright colours really appeal to me!

I have been inspired by the whole mood board! The colours, the circular ribbon effect the smilie face, and 'Be Happy' from the quote! :)

My Hero...

This month i decided to play along with the challenge at Scrapbookit. I have had this photo of my Dad lying around for quite a while but had never had the right opportunity to scrap it.  The Scrapbookit challenge was perfect though. The criteria was to scrap a masculine layout, with the words 'My Hero', 4 different patterned papers, Washi tape, twine, and a handmade item! Phew, that was a lot of criteria, but it all tied together quite easily! :)
